Registered Psychologist
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Psychologist to join our collaborative care team. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise in assessments and therapy, a commitment to trauma-informed practice, and enthusiasm for working in a team-based environment. Experience with substance use disorders or psychedelic-assisted therapy is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Assessments
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments ADHD assessments, including diagnostic and psychosocial evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches.
Deliver therapeutic interventions such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ART, mindfulness-based therapy, and trauma-focused modalities.
Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed to support client outcomes.
Collaborative & Multidisciplinary Practice
Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, OTs, and other professionals in case planning and care delivery.
Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing clinical discussions.
Provide consultation and support to team members regarding psychological care approaches.
Documentation & Record-Keeping
Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and organizational standards.
Ensure all records comply with provincial privacy laws and professional guidelines.
Professional Development & Ethics
Stay informed of the latest research and developments in psychological treatment.
Registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP), and meet continuing education requirements.
Adhere to professional ethics, maintain confidentiality, and uphold client-centered values in all clinical interactions.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
Registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
Strong experience in delivering evidence-based therapies.
Knowledge of psychological assessments and interpretation.
Experience working with trauma, mood disorders, and/or substance use clients.
Familiarity with psychedelic-assisted therapies is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
