Trauma-Informed Care
Modern research has increasingly highlighted how trauma can profoundly affect the central nervous system (CNS), disrupting neural circuits responsible for emotion and stress regulation.
For veterans, these disruptions can manifest as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and physical health challenges, impacting their lives and relationships. Trauma results in a constant state of heightened alertness, where the affected signals continue to impact daily functioning.
Envision Mind Care is dedicated to trauma-informed care, offering veterans innovative treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Ketamine Therapy to address these deep-seated issues. TMS helps reset overactive neural circuits by stimulating specific brain regions with magnetic fields, while Ketamine enhances neuroplasticity, promoting the development of healthy brain connections.
When combined with psychological therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), our approach targets both the physiological and psychological aspects of trauma in veterans. Our comprehensive care model helps veterans not only manage symptoms but work towards long-term recovery, empowering them to reclaim and enrich their lives. At Envision Mind Care, we provide a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters healing, enabling veterans to thrive in a balanced and fulfilling life.
