Emerging Regulated Therapies
At Envision Mind Care, we are committed to exploring innovative and evidence-informed treatment options for individuals facing complex and treatment-resistant mental health challenges. In select cases, under the direction of our licensed Medical Director, we may consider the use of regulated therapies that fall under Health Canada’s oversight.
These therapies are not first-line treatments and are not available for general use. They are only considered following a comprehensive medical and psychiatric assessment, and only when conventional therapies have been unsuccessful.

Our Clinical Approach
We recognize that individuals living with complex mental health concerns may not always respond to traditional treatments alone. In collaboration with our clinical team, patients may explore additional therapeutic options that reflect current research and evolving practices.
All treatment decisions are made on a case-by-case basis:
Thorough medical and psychiatric assessment
Informed consent and a full clinical review are mandatory prior to treatment
All treatments are administered under the direct supervision of a licensed physician
Therapies are provided only when medically appropriate and permitted by regulation
Strict adherence to ethical, legal, and clinical guidelines

Why Emerging Therapies?
Innovative mental health care requires thoughtful integration of evolving research, clinical experience, and patient-centered decision-making. While traditional treatments remain the foundation of care, there is increasing interest in regulated therapies that show promise in specific cases.
Envision Mind Care’s role is to ensure that such therapies are only considered when supported by clinical justification, are safe, and align with national regulations.
We do not make treatment claims or guarantee outcomes. Any emerging interventions used in our clinic are part of a regulated, highly controlled process designed to support individuals who have not responded to conventional care.
