Support That Understands Alberta’s Educators

Confidential, evidence-informed care for teachers and school staff — with guidance & support in collaboration with ASEBP and your health benefits.

You Support Others - Let Us Support You

Teaching and supporting students can be deeply meaningful — but also emotionally and physically demanding. Many Alberta educators experience stress, burnout, anxiety, or mental health challenges as a result of these demands.

At Envision Mind Care, we understand the pressures unique to the education system. We’re here to support your recovery — whether you’re on medical leave, planning your return to work, or just beginning to explore options for care.

We take the time to understand your individual goals and circumstances. Our clinicians provide a safe, professional, and compassionate environment where you can begin to feel like yourself again.

Navigating Sick Leave & Returning to Work

If you’re currently on sick leave or planning to take time away from work, we’re here to support you with care that fits your needs — and help you meet any documentation or planning requirements for your employer or benefits provider.

We Can Help You With

  • Completing an Attending Practitioner Statement (required by some benefits providers)

  • Coordinating with your treatment team and workplace for return-to-work planning

  • Providing medical documentation to support extended leave or modified duties

  • Offering assessments and therapy aligned with your recovery and work readiness

If you're an Alberta educator covered by ASEBP and are on a medical leave that extends beyond 14 days, you may be eligible for the Sick Leave Support Program. This program helps coordinate your care and plan a safe, supportive return to work.

Planning to Return to Work?

Our team can work with you — and, where permitted, with your employer — to ensure your care plan supports a gradual, safe, and sustainable return to your role. This may include:

  • Modified schedules

  • Workplace accommodations

  • Step-wise therapeutic support
