Registered Nurse, Multi-Programme Clinical Support
About This Role
Envision Mind Care is an Edmonton based mental health and addictions clinic offering comprehensive, evidence informed psychiatric and adjunct care, including IV ketamine and infusion therapy, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy (PAPT), psychedelic drug treatment services (PDTS), and a residential and outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program.
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to play a central role across these programs. IV ketamine and infusion therapy is a key part of the role, and the RN also helps oversee treatment protocols, supports nursing staff across programs, and ensures consistent, safe, patient centered care clinic-wide, working under physician direction and in line with CPSA and Government of Alberta standards. This is a part-time position, ideal for an RN who wants to bring their clinical skills into a meaningful, multi-program mental health setting.
Responsibilities:
Administering and monitoring IV ketamine and nutrition infusion therapy, including pre-, intra-, and post-treatment patient monitoring
Supporting and helping oversee nursing care and protocols across our PAPT, PDTS, and SUD program areas, in collaboration with physicians and the clinical team
Assessing and seeing patients directly across programs, including intake, treatment support, and follow-up care
Providing clinical guidance to LPNs and other nursing staff as needed
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with CRNA standards and applicable CPSA and Government of Alberta program requirements
Responding to and helping manage acute clinical needs or adverse events across treatment areas
Qualifications:
Active registration, or eligibility for registration, with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination
For internationally educated nurses, a completed education credential assessment through the National Nursing Assessment Service (NNAS) or a CRNA-approved credential assessment service
Demonstrated English Language Proficiency where required (for example, IELTS or CELBAN)
Legal entitlement to work in Canada, or willingness to pursue this with support
Experience or interest in mental health, addictions, interventional psychiatry, or multi-program clinical nursing is an asset
Strong communication skills and a genuine, patient centered approach to care
Required Certifications and Screening:
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required for RNs supporting IV treatment services, or agreement to obtain within a clinic-specified timeframe
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
Satisfactory Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
All staff are generally required to provide and maintain a satisfactory Police Information Check, a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check, and current Basic Life Support certification, unless the clinic determines that an exception applies based on the role's duties, level of client contact, programme involvement, work setting, and operational requirements. Where appropriate, the clinic may accept an equivalent, current, or otherwise satisfactory screening, certification, or related credentialing component already held through a regulatory body, professional college, employer, hospital, or other recognised source. Additional screening, certification, or programme-specific requirements may apply depending on the position and assigned services.
What We Offer
Flexible, part-time schedule that fits around your life
A purpose built, collaborative mental health and addictions clinic in Edmonton
A growing, innovative, multi-program clinical environment
A supportive clinical and administrative team
We thank all applicants for their interest. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
